By following this manual you will learn how to create maps using the MAPublisher Xtras in Macromedia FreeHand. A glossary of GIS terms is included at the back of this manual. Please refer to your Macromedia FreeHand user guide for more information on using Macromedia FreeHand. This manual assumes that the user is familiar with Macromedia FreeHand 10 or MX and has at least a basic understanding of geographic information systems (GIS) terminology and concepts. MAPublisher 5.0 improves on the already powerful tools of previous versions by adding additional file support, additional tools and improvements to existing tools. MAPublisher allows all your cartographic tasks to be performed where they should be done, in a powerful graphics environment.
