A simple fix would be buffing all the mods. This weapon deals primarily Impact damage on its melee attacks, and Heat damage on its Heavy Attack. The transformation is sped up when used by Citrine.

Heavy Attacks performed by the Corufell transform the weapon into a Gunblade to fire energy projectiles. In Citrine's hands, the weapon gains increased Projectile Speed. Hell, even my shittily built Soma Prime out performs it by a pretty large margin. Corufell is Citrines signature Heavy Scythe. These projectiles are initially short-ranged, but grow in size and last longer as it passes through enemies. However, the useless Punch-through is still on it, and the ammo regen-rate is still pretty slow. Steflos is Citrine's signature shotgun that fires large Heat energy projectiles. I think the Grattler is finally in a good place right now. Because of the fire-rate and magazine boost, you can spray around a lot more, and hit enemies much easier! This is a HUGE boost for the Grattler, since the biggest issue was not hitting enemies.

  • Just for fun I used a Duality Equinox clone with fluctus and it solo'd a mech relatively quickly (and to be clear, the clone can solo alot of steel path missions). Otherwise, arch-guns are kinda /meh compared to other options out there. Vengeful Rush - All damage taken is transformed into Energy, while abilities gain enhanced range, duration and power. The fluctus with it's infinite punch-through can hit the weak-spot from the front. Warding Grace - Renders the Warframe and nearby allies immune to Status Effects, while slowing nearby enemies. Benevolent Decoy - Creates beacons that draw enemy fire, converting the damage into healing pulses. Dunno - shooting things with the Fluctus, piercing multiple walls and. Hopefully DE changes older arch-guns to be more like this, or at least add more with this feel. Both of its firing types are fun to use, it actually deals okay damage, and it just overall feels nice. The Larkspur is the only weapon that makes arch-guns feel 'worth it'. Cant say I recommend them over Grattler or Fluctus.
